Morning Si, if you look hard enough there are some informative and sensible threads around here.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out. I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Greeting Simon. Ignore some of the banter and you will find that there are a lot informative and helpful people here on Teak Door.

Hi there Simon - welcome to TD! Where in Non do you stay? I am in Bang Krui, on the western side of the river. We have at least one more active member here in the same area.

Cheers everyone. Thanks for the welcome! I'll probably avoid the banter, join the informative threads and make the most of what's good about TD.

Whiteshiva, I'm in Bang Kruai too - not far from Ratchapreuk Road.

Hear that Klongmaster - perhaps a Nontaburi TD meet would be in order....

Thanks Helge, yes, Thai politics is very complicated. Would it be too simplistic to say Thi politics = money = corruption? Let's give the Democrats a chance first tho
