Got suspended for the harmless sort of "flaming" he displayed in his first post here.
Sorry, I hope neither admin nor thegent mind me posting this link.
I have given up, this is the last time I shall read the newbies thread, it is way too confusing......Originally Posted by RandomChances
Well, it's not that hard:
All the "Gents" are different posters, it would be more confusing indeed to attempt tracking all the handles used by one person, such as DD...
I only use one nic to post and have 2 non posting nics to check the forum to see how it looks to a newbie using differant browsers, and that is it
I didn't mean to say you have different nicks on this forum, but you may have the odd one elsewhere, as some of the gents have, and a few others (except Daleyboy, who isn't bright enough to pull it off).
Next time, in promulgating your esoteric cogitations, or articulating your superficial sentimentalities and amicable, philosophical or psychological observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity. Let your conversational communications possess a clarified conciseness, a compacted comprehensibleness, coalescent consistency, and a concatenated cogency. Eschew all conglomerations of flatulent garrulity, jejune babblement, and asinine affectations.Originally Posted by thegent

Shun double-entendres, prurient jocosity, and pestiferous profanity, obscurant or apparent!!
You're no good at this, Old Croc.
My online-dictionary doesn't list half the vocabulary you're pretending to be familiar with.
You are a sad little Stroller. That was a joke post. thegent knows it. Most of even TD people can recognise it as such, but you've been searching your dictionary to try and disprove the words! And you're wrong! Time to buy a new dictionary.
I thought you were going to tell me your other identity in exchange for my thoughts on TV mods. What happened?

Oh really? I haven't even read it all, nor did I look up any words. LoLOriginally Posted by Sobek
I wasn't gonna mention it, but I have been waiting with anticipation for you to to reveal your deep and sincere thoughts on moderation there.I thought you were going to tell me your other identity in exchange for my thoughts on TV mods. What happened?
Keep in mind though, that you're being watched and your posting priviliges (over there)may be compromised.
Anyway, it would be more appropriate as well as safer to bear all in the 'member's only' section.

Before I popped out for my customary gallon of lager I checked TD and saw that this thread was in excess of the replies currently displayed.
Now this disparity could mean any of 3 tings; I was wrong before I left, I am wrong now but too pissed to notice or posts have been excised in my absence. I suspect the latter has occurred but for the life of me I cannot think why since this is a groundbreaking forum right on the zeitgeist of cyber communication which does not entertain cheap censorship for callow political reasons. Or am I wrong?
the thread was seperated, check out the tv underground thread in the captains lounge, you will find it all there.
There are too many "gents" running around. I am getting confused. I can tell none of you apart and I dont know any of the people you are supposed to be either as I am not a TV poster. Can you all pick a different name or something to make it easier for us ignorant ones? I hardly believe that this many people are true gentleman.
Man cannot live on bread alone.
