Thread: New to TD, old to Asia.

Hi guys, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Headworx was just the name on the sunglasses case in front of me when I joined today BTW, means jack.

I've been reading this board occasionally for quite a while and like what I see more and more now. Nothing here has changed, I have!. After a long time living in S.E.A. and somewhere near 10 years in Pattaya, reading or being a rare poster on the big Pattaya monger boards isn't the same anymore and I find myself reading threads here first when there's nothing better to be doing. Which is often!. Photos of someones money shot and trip reports to outside my front door are just getting old and stale. Like me as many an overnight companion might add!. Not to say girls are out of the equation, it's just that going out on the sauce to gogo bars with shit music at deafening volume is losing it's appeal lately over a nice bar you can park outside with good food, and where people can actually talk. And text girls to come along as well if the mood kicks in .

These days I'd much rather read about someones trip to Penang, tribulations of building a house, visit to some out of the way new restaurant, or someones wifes first go at cooking an exotic dish like eggs on toast . The humour people seem to inject into almost every thread is the kicker, more so from the sizable Aussie contingent, I'm originally from there as well.

I should have joined this board ages ago, there's been some unanswered questions about Thailand particularly Pattaya I could maybe have helped people with, like where to buy such and such and how much they cost, or where is so and so. Also just to say thanks to many people for their excellent posts that have helped out in some way, without them ever knowing it. Thanks.
