Thread: Very Newbie

Hi, my name is Mike, retired and hoping to move to Chiang Mai next year. I live in Wales, near Cardiff, and have decided that I need a complete change of life and surroundings. I have joined this site as I'm hoping I can gather more information, than what I already have, on moving to Thailand. There appears to be a wealth of information on here which I'm hoping to study over the coming months..any pointers as regards accommodation, regarding the best/quietest areas welcome..in fact any info that you think would be useful would be appreciated..Cheers, Mike Gallagher

In fact you can have one shipped from Cardiff but I think the import tax can be a bit steep!

Welcome Mike ,, how long have you spent in CM in one stay may I ask ?

Ive been in CM for four years, if you need any info, just ask.

Make sure the buffalo is well and the roof on papas house doesn't leak.
