    Good day to all

Joined the forum a few ago, a quick introduction seems to be the right thing to do.
I've been in and out of Thailand since '83 witnessing a few changes, married a Thai Lady, planted teak trees. If anyone would like to discuss this particular subject, I'll be happy to answer with whatever I know (which is not that much).
We live on a boat most of the time so we tend to be offline quite a lot. Sailing is another good subject to discuss

    Have a good one.

    Welcome to TD.

From some of your other posts I am guessing that you are running a dive boat. Is that off of a sailing boat or do you have some sort of motorised contraption?

Actually I am not. We live on a Sailing Yacht which does have an engine as well and since there is not a lot of wind in the Andaman we end up motoring more than we would like. Boat engine is another interesting subject, I have a Volvo Penta which is probably one of the worst marine engine on the market. Just in case I missed the point I am not doing any business with the boat, just enjoy living on the water and get the anchor up whenever we feel like a change.

Hello there and welcome Tallskipper. It sounds a nice lifestyle that you have for yourself. I myself long for a life on the ocean wave....Not on a boat, just on the wave, like a sea-otter.

Depends how long one's expect a lifetime to last.... I have some line up for commercial size (1 foot diameter) in just about 15 years. I guess it falls into the lifetime category for most people in Thailand

Indeed hard work but that beats working in the office or wherever.
