    What colour is your car?

There are very limited choices when it comes to car colours here, especially on standard models or non-chickmobiles, so I was wondering if you were a sheeple who went with the flow or have still managed to hold on to an ounce of individualism and insisted upon having colour in your car's paint.

I ordered a black Vigo from new in 2004, then replaced that with the dark grey version in 2007

I was informed by the Toyota salesman n 2007 that they would need to do a special order as the colour wasn't standard on that model (complete bollocks, of course).

The new Vigo arrived within 10 days.

1997 Toyota Corona and it looks like new. A taxi smashed me a few months ago in the rear end. My wife got the insurance to repaint the whole car. Then I added a new dark tint on the windows. Its simply a great commute car.

Mine changes every day, it's a great system.

This morning it was pink with a white stripe and yesterday morning it was red with a silver stripe.

Sometimes it is a lovely vivid sky blue and often it's yellow and green.

    Now that is individual styling.

I thought about it, but didn't want to exclude those of limited intelligence like your self.

Bog standard black (own car) and silver (works car) for me. Anything individualistic also tends to stick in the minds of traffic cops or wanker drivers that you might have flipped off at some point..

I got nice reddy bronze colour, it makes me look like a great big raving poof, and man pants sniffer, but I am comfortable with my sexuality so there.

    I've always liked Silver

Dark coloured cars get hotter, and the paint deteriorates quickly. I had an old Capri that went from Red to nearly pink. I tried loads of T-Cut and various Polishes but nothing would bring the colour back

Black is the worst colour to have, gets hotter inside, shows up all the scratches and gets dirty quicker

I had to vote other, mainly because its only gets washed when it rains.
I have only chucked 2 buckets of water over it in 3 years.
So our car is mud coloured with a hint of light blue metallic paint

Yeah paint these days is a tad better at holding its colour.

rawlins, I like your 666 license plate! :-D

I have a question about car colour in Thailand. Why don't you see many red cars? I've asked many people but nobody has an answer.
