Keep on truckin, and collect his arm with your helmet on they way through.
Just keep going. If anyone says anything you didn't believe it was a real officer since real police aren't that stupid.
Leave them to argue that they are.
In the States we say, "You can't out-run a Motorola"- in Thailand, though, that's not an issue.
Having seen the negative consequences of a run gone bad, I always pull over, but I can see why some people give it a go.
I never stop for them whatever bike I'm on. If I'm in a car, I'll stop and just sit there and ignore them until they get bored and tell me to go.
Last time they tried to stop me the cop come at me kamikaze style, I swerved to avoid him and he hit me so hard on the head with his clip board it nearly knocked me off my bike.
Wish I had it on video, was laughing about it the whole way home.
Spur of the moment for me, hillbilly...
Looks like there wasn't too much time to think about it...just weave on by...
I guess it would depend on the 'mood' I'm in...
I usually enjoy a good conversation with the police in different countries...as long as they're not a-holes...
Last time I had a small problem...I was doing about 150-160 km/hr (not in Thailand, lol) and he had me dead to rights...but we had a fcking good talk and the ticket was minimal because of my attitude...and he was apologizing the whole time...one of the good ones...and I was clearly in the wrong
Wait for the next 'War on Drugs' to get started.
A number of people shot & killed at checkpoints then & the police claimed they were drug dealers, so when they didnt stop, they shot them. (a few pills slipped into the pocket of the body took care of any embarrassing questions...)
