A must watch video of the actual motor bike road test, As you can see it looks easy but not everyone manages to get around the track.

Fcuk me. Compared to where I live, that driving test would be beyond most people. Half the distance and it's on grass. in fact it's the same course as for the car, except for the reverse.

Yup that test really making it difficult for the locals to achieve their goals of becoming a legit road user.

The test may present some difficulties to first time drivers, but you'd be surprised that even though they may have displayed a lack of competence some still are granted driver licenses.

Such was the case when I took the car and moto tests 8-years ago. I was amazed at the lack of abilities of some of those being tested who none-the-less received licenses. And they can be seen daily on Pattaya's roads.

A few thousand across the table will guarantee you a licence without a test, or the ability to read & write. The country is a bollix.

What would be wrong in practicing a bit before the test day?

To make it more realistic the test should be done with a family of four and a twin tub washing machine on the bike. Helmets for everyone, includiing the washing machine.

I would think for a Thai person it would only be a few hundred. Most have no problem but it is not so easy for every one, A Thai lady started to shake as soon as she started and ended up under the big tree on the left.

The most stupidest post I have seen in a long time, why would the washing machine need a crash helmet idiot.....

In the States I had to take a road test to get my motorcycle endorsement- it was pretty easy except for one part, where you had to ride in a figure-eight pattern while keeping your front tire between two lines.

An amazing number of people fail it, mostly due to not getting enough bike practice (it's easy to practice in a car, but not everyone has another motorcyclist family member or friend to help them out).
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
