    Motorcycle safety wear

Seems a bit hot and sweaty in a tropical climate to wear the full protection that your body probably deserves.

What safety gear do you wear when riding your motorbike?

A flip-front helmet is quite handy. You can get light-weight, ventilated mash jackets like this:

Or if you're in-touch with your feminine side, this one would do you:

I have a Shoei full face helmet given to me by a friend who migrated to Australia.

Its freaking hot and claustrophobic (but no doubt very good as it cost him a fortune in the UK).

I also have a S$30 open face helmet, approved by the Singapore authorities
but probably not that good - although ofcourse better than the plastic ones u see people using in Thailand.

Shorts, T-Shirts and a full face helmet...wouldn't do to scrape your lower jaw off on a cats eye, would it now..
