I'd appreciate knowing what program you use and what operating system the tablet is. I'd like to be able to do that. Thanks

Quite a few manufacturers specify dexron 2 automatic transmission fluid to lubricate manual transmissions in newer cars. I don't know why. My old Mercedes 190 from 1987 was a 5 speed but the manual called for Dexron oil.

I have an Andriod tablet and the App is called Torque.

You need to buy a wireless dongle from Chinkystan for a few bucks too.

My Toyota truck is paid for and the warranty is up, so no need for me to take it to the dealership for service. You just need to find a good mechanic an let then do the work.

I have a Toyota Vigo 4 X 4, 3.0 liter Diesel, Auto-tran and recently had the 40K service. All the oils, filters changed, transmission oil and trans-axel oils changed rear differential oil change, brake fluid drained and refilled, brakes adjusted, new wiper blades, air filter changed, computer diagnostic etc. 4,500 baht total in Phuket Toyota dealer on the By-pass road.

Several years ago with another Toyota Vigo I happened to be in Chiang Mai when service was required...30,000K...6,500 baht for nothing but oil and filter change. Got me!!!! They knew I was on the road and a one time deal.

I often do a mid term oil and filter change. This drives the dealership service people crazy.
