    Motorsai Seat Recovering in Pattaya?

I'm in Chanthaburi. I took my bike to a Seat recovering/repair shop to get my seat recovered with a little extra padding. I showed him pics of one that been done already (PCX) and he said come back in a couple of hours.

I went back and nothing had been done! He said he couldn't do it! I showed him the pics and said "Look! .. this one's been done! It can be done. This is your business! .. recovering bike seats!

He just kept saying "tahm mai dai" .. Can't do it. I asked him if I could buy a couple of metres of vinyl and I'll do it myself...."Mai mee" .. I don't have any! I was about to ask how he can recover seats if he has no vinyl .. and can't do it anyway .. when I decided the man was a complete idiot and I'd be wasting my time.

I went to several bike shops .. and most of them said they couldn't do it .. or directed me to the idiots shop.

So .... does anyone know of a place in Pattaya that does seat recovering? I'm going up there next weekend.

    Cheers

PS .. Sorry about the long story .. but I thought I'd entertain you first!

You can use logic to justify anything. That's its power. It’s also its flaw.

At work we use the services of a small trimming shop located out on Suk road, they are next to the toyota dealership (heading away from patts before the 36 turn off).

Ive personally had them do some small stuff for me, a scoot seat and a complex subwoofer box in my pickup, their skills are second to none and competitively priced as well.

heard good things about a shop on Chayapruk 2, more or less opposite the stadium, theres not that many shops there so should be easy to find?
Or was that the one you went too?

^ No .. that's not the one. At least I didn't go near the stadium. Chayapruk 2? Is that one of the two roads running down either side of the stadium? I don't recall any shops there. I'll check it out tomorrow .. thanks.

If not .. I've got a good mental picture of the Pattaya one's location mentioned by Fondles .. thanks for that too!

Soi Thepprasit near the Sukhumvit end, turn into Theprassit from Sukhumvit, first lot of 2 story shop houses on your left, he has a load of old car seats and similar stuff out front, recovers anything.

Hang on Airportwo .. are you talking about Chanthaburi or Pattaya?

EDIT .. Never mind. I just found Soi Chaiyapruk 2 and the Indoor Stadium on Google Earth. guess you're talking about Patters.

We have a stadium in Chanthaburi too. That's where the "Idiot" shop is. Threw me for a while!

Just reread your original post, so you had new foam aswell, probably about the right price.

Yeah .. maybe .. they would have had to carve it? (the foam) .. It's also a lot bigger than a normal seat.
