    Funky new bike

I saw a really cool little bike the other day in Udon, but I've no idea what it is.

It had a single large diameter tube frame from the head down to the engine. Almost like a bicycle. It looked like in may also act as the fuel tank.

It had large wheels. Probably 17 or 18 inches and 2 tiny halogen or lcd spots for the headlights. I guess it's only a 125cc engine, but a bike like this would be perfect for running around town on.

Does anyone have any ideas what this bike may be, and more importantly, where to get one from?

Heard they're actually big pile of poo.

Looking nothing more than a runaround, pick up a Nouvo 135cc.

Or if in need of something more bike-ish, a cbr150.

You might wish to drive one first.

Yet to hear anything positive about them.

Apart from the clueless who think they're cool for some bizarre, prepubescent reason.

The 125cc version is under powered but the 135 version is much better.

The 250cc model isn't in Thailand yet as far as I know.
They are all built in China

This is the 500cc model they are planning

    That saddle looks 'interesting'.

I just thought the smaller bikes would be an alternative to the usual Wave type bikes that are prevalent here.

Could be a problem for parts and tires- the nice thing about Honda is that you're never more than 50 feet from a repair shop.

They're apparently flying out of the shops in Pattaya. Must be terrible.

Made in Thailand by Tiger, so it shouldn't be that bad. I'm used to sourcing parts for a 28 year old rare Honda, so this would be a lot easier. Also, some people reckon the engine is a Chinky knock-off of the Honda 125.

Couldbe interesting at the right price; say under 100k; wll maybe 75k, but it'd likely be double that (or treble/tripple).

Edit to add link: http://www.madass.in.th/forum/ mostly Thai, but some specs in English.

Different that's for sure, but I'd be concerned about all that exposed exhaust pipe.

A much easier way to get the typical free thai tatoo.

Anyway, this bike is crap. Should suit well for MtD.

You'd need a basket on the front to put your Hello Kitty helmet in, Marmers.
