I really don't see the necessity to add insults in your post. I was just writing my point of view about the machine in this thread about motorbikes.
But it seems it's one of your annoying habit.

Cruiser wise I would like a V-star 1700 cc running on straight through pipes. Heard one at a bike week a few years back and fell in love with the noise.

A bit gayer but still tempting is this

    With supercharger fitted.

I've gone off sports bike/sports tourers since the blackbird went away.

I will still one day be doing my engine transplant on a VRX with a 650cc Bros or 750CC VT engine.

This was my baby when I lived in Los Angeles. ('97 Yamaha V-Max 1,200)
I know a few posters on here will say it's crap, but I presume they're just longing for a real piece of thunder between their legs.

An awesome bike to cruise Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Hollywood, Malibu and the odd run down to San Diego in SoCal sunshine.

I now wish I hadn't sold it before moving here.

It's a recurrent attitude of you to deny others any ability to discuss any subject isn't it ?
You never met me and don't have any idea about my riding experience but it's easy for you to make silly subjective comments.

Can you develop a bit and tell me on wich base you came to such a conclusion ?

I owned a Sportster until 2 years ago, gave up riding in Thailand. But, those are for sissies. I always wanted to own a real bike, like a nice fatboy.

You guys can keep your speed machines. Riding is all about stylin. BG and Chitown are right.

And, aporos of nothing in particular, of what could be termed 'the older generation'. Coincidence?

I was actually thinking about this today. My taste in cars and bikes has grown to be diametrically opposed - cars for me are all about cruising in style, bikes for thrashing the living bejeezus out of and seeing how far you dare lean in the corner.

I resemble that remark. I'm only 52...young enough to have a 23 year old girlfriend. But I agree Harleys are for fat old farts for the most part who try to relive their youth.

Hey, maybe I'll get a fatboy.

Bloody Hell! I can barely get it up once a day now. I can't take viagra because of a heart condition, so I guess I'll have to just enjoy my memories of 10 times in 24 hours - that's my record, and not that long ago. About five years ago I was still a man. Now I'm looking for a Harley.

well yes, but just in case you do have one, that keeps everyone from reading the writing on the back of your shirt.

But serious riding has a style all it's own.

I can see the "styling" appeal but love real riding too much to sacrifice function for style for the sake of style.

Like Harley's myself but for pure comfort, elegance and style I lean toward this beauty. Would make a great touring bike for Thailand me thinks.
