I just put a deposit on a new z900, the blue one, was originally looking a the Kawasaki 1000 buy I could not get my head around the price.
it gets delivered when I return from work in Australia next month.
have done a short test ride and it seemed big enough to comfortable and it seems to have enough power.
just have to wait for a rack and bag are released for it.

Nice engine upgrade from the Z800.

It looks like the ER6N is rebranded as the Z650 now. The styling is a bit wanting though.

The previous bike I was thinking about was the Triumph Thruxton, but I could not justify the price. The small number of service centers was also an issue since the closest one to me was about 150km away in Khon Kean.

My advice to everyone is to purchase sooner than later, ot that opportunity may just slip away.
Since bike but make sure it has the latest spec valves as there is a recall on all models from 2010 upwards.

I just bought a Honda Moove, it does the job.

Personally, I wouldn't drive it in the city apart from on a Sunday.

My teenage daughter wants to ride it but I refuse, but that's another story.

I upped my fleet to 11 with 2 Mios, a Suzuki Step and a Suzuki Raider. 3/4 already on long term rental.

Still riding my Street Triple R and CRFs for fun in the rubber.

Couple of years ago, I posted a garage full of bike. There were two Evos and two Twinkies. The next month, I rented a 3200 sq ft. shop on a main Highway near the junction of two busy California highways, put the Twinkies out front and sold 'em first day. I tore this bike down and found it needed more than I had time for so I had the tins painted and the frame powdercoated. Tore the engine down, wrapped up the pieces and put 'em in the rafters Built a few cars, flipped a couple easy fixes. Last October/November pulled hte bike pieces down and started on it.

    Here's the before Pic:

    aaaand....

LOUD, FAST & LOW. Here it is; bathed and polished. Tachometer is a little wonky, replacement is in the mail (I hope). It goes back to the painter tomorrow for color sand and a buff. After a couple coats of wax it goes on the block.

Each time I take it out in the country for acceleration trials It blows my mind. Quick, free revving, and fast. Stops like a sport bike accelerates like a drag bike, handles like a dream. I've put it though it's paces, it's low, capital "L" Low. I drag the right peg on a hard corner, like a 15 MPH corner at 40, hard. The left side drags the kickstand, I might modify it, might not the difference of angle is only a few degrees and you gotta be trying real fucking hard to see how low you can go to drag either side. (I was testing, I had to. )

I believe this is an easy mid to low 12 second bike, maybe high 11s if you got a light and skilled rider on it. It is still a great little bar-hopper and has great street manners, it is a kick in the ass to ride. and If I were a younger man I would not hesitate to ride this bike to anywhere in the country. Seating is surprisingly comfortable and I don;t see a problem with long rides at all.
New powder coat on the frame and other bits, new paint is blue pearl on vivid black; "Midnight Blue". Everything has been gone through on this bike from wheel bearings to engine and transmission bearings. The heads have a professional three angle valve job I blended the valve seats with the ports. it appears to have had the heads turned (milled) a little before I tore it down. Price will be set on the day I put it up. it ain't gonna be cheap. I built this bike to sell, but, I really like it; A LOT. I set my price and probably won't be too negotiable on it. For now I am enjoying shaking it down and tweaking anything I deem not right.

That's quick for a cruiser, but for 'fast' these days you have to pull a mid/high-9 and trap ~150mph. Even 600cc supersports are well into the tens now.

Makes my Honda Moove look like a bicycle, however would be insane to ride a big bike in Thailand, especially where I live.

I've an Electra Glide Classic that is good for long distance but I must say I have had more fun on the 1968 Honda 350. I've also some smaller bikes that are fun and easy to handle so they are a treat to scoot about on. I'd post a pic but Im too retarded, plus I'm done crapping so I gotta roll.
