Alright, its not my bike and I've never ridden it and I don't have a mate who owns one. BUT if I had 69,000 baht to spare, it could be mine because its up for sale . At least it will be mine for tonight ............ in my dreams
Might give the bloke a call as a friend is arriving soon and will be looking for 2 wheeled transport
Zongshen 'Persuit' ZS125-50
would be nice if it was 1600 or more
Or even an 800 if it had a proper engine.Originally Posted by nedwalk
Nice looking bike and I like the style but as others have said its a pity about the gutless engine
Do you guys reckon it's a fair price ?
Well, I dunno. Horses for courses. I'm not a speed freak myself and would be happy enough on a bike that could cruise along comfortably at 100 kph , which I think this could quiet comfortably. I've had a couple of friends badly hurt through riding beyond their capabilities in Thailand where road surfaces are unpredictable and livestock sometimes roam at will.
I once took a 125 Honda wing on a road trip from Bangkok to Nong Kai, then followed the Mekong down to Ubon and then back to Bangkok. My friend was on a Kawasaki 125 with his wife on the back !!. When we departed we said we would cruise at about 90 but that soon went out the window and we mostly went along at 110 kph. As you can imagine we were dubious as to whether the engines could take it but they were o.k. What we found to be a much bigger problem was comfort. The small seats and hard suspension were real killers and I ached for a week when we got back.
The only mods we made for this trip were changing the rear sprockets for ones with 2 less teeth to give the engines a slightly easier time of it.
Yep I would think it was a good buy even with out a book.Originally Posted by jandajoy
I cant do the 100 klm/h thing as I hate the trucks and buses passing me and like to stay in front of the traffic but each to their own, its still and nice looking bikeOriginally Posted by Bangyai
Doing something like this would be fun, I just watch top gear where they road a 1000 miles in 8 day from south vietnam to north vietnam on old second hand scooters. I think one was a honda 70 and some russian scooter and some other piece of shit. Bloody best top gear I have ever watchedOriginally Posted by Bangyai
here some of it here
Thanks for the link. Will download it and watch it on TV downstairs tonight.
I guess most readers of this thread will know this site but here's the link anyway :
Honda Classic
Its in Thai but easy to navigate. The first half is dealer adds the second is the personal classifieds. Plenty of interestring Hondas here. For other makes just search the site for what you're after.
yep that top gear was funny as fuck, i just loved that pommie prick clarkeson out of his compfort zone, and the skid lids, well i reckon theres a whole new market
This is, err 'interesting'.
Get rid of the fag stickers and it'll wipe the floor with most genuine Hardley Ablesons.
Whats with the gay side stand?
I'm getting the feeling that this guy is confused about what if he wants, in his bikes and his bed
He's Thai.Originally Posted by Sdigit

That bike is awful!
Pink stand, Halrley sticker, Jap inline 4cyl engine, mismatching wheels!
Marmers stop posting pics of crap bikes.
Please post some good ones for a change.
