Macha, really nice bike there but on a long ride, it would eat up my back and knees. I have to stick with the sport/cruiser type of bikes.

    ZX-9's are good bikes.

My mate just smashed the fuck out of his in Kao Yai (Kao Yai has now claimed three of our bikes).

He slid along the road parallel to the bike - the bike hit a fucking kilometer marker and he went into the dirt - lucky lucky lucky fucker.

If he had hit that kilometer marker he would have had more than a sore shoulder.

    He can't rid just now.

Snapped gear pedal. clutch forks bent huge ding in the tank, missing part of fairing, snapper fame sliders,

He was going about 100 when he decide to open her up whilst he was still tipped over and off they went

I came off a 150RR last year doing about 80 and making the turn found someone had their clothes hanging in the street, missed them but then hit a hole in the road and came off. No damage really to the bloody bike as the damn thing landed on top of me. 2 broken fingers, roadrash and knocked the frick out. Was real lucky that this big Thai guy loaded me into his truck and took me to hospital. Doing fine now and got back on the bike as soon as I could. Did slow me a bit though.

I started my biking career with a suzuki bandit 400cc and rode the bike for 2 weeks. My dad saw me racing with some of my friends and I was forced to sell the bike. Then to calm my dad down I bought a Kawasaki kdx 200 rode for one year and then I found this bike called Honda Nighthawk 750 cc and the owner was ready for exchange and some more cash after alot of hunger strike and argument at last I got the cash and was very happy but one day my biking career ended cos of my friend who crashed my bike in a car and fractured his backbone I was lucky just got some minor injuries and got out of the hospital in two days but that poor guy spend the next six months on the bed.

This aint my one's pic but it was the same thing.AAH I miss those days.

Also check out the VMax replacement!

Actually I hope this is not the replacement as I would much prefer a V4, plus pushrods??? WTF

That replacement is right cool lookin' 100+ cu inches
unleashes maximum torque at 3,750 rpm
At that RPM push rods make for a nice, less complex motor and the valve train weight isn;t much of an issue. It's aV-Twin so there's gotta be a whole lotta stroke; 4.5 inches, yep, this is a low RPM stump puller.
    V-twin
    48 degrees
    Pushrods,
    Monster stroke, under square motor
    Low compression
Looks like they might be copying some ideas that been workin' for damn near a century, eh?
Motor looks a tad like a sporty motor too.

    Hey Texpat, that's a focking V-Max, ain't it?

My nephew once brought his friend's V-Max home. I took it for a test ride. Fall short of gas, went to the gas station and guess what? I couldn't focking find the fuel tank!!!

Yeah, sorta tucked away under the bits, the *as hole is.

Also, to check the oil, there's a little window, bottom right, on the right-hand-side of the bike. Searched for hours on my first oil check.

    Right.

You haven't got a gallery set up yet.

You need to click on the 'Gallery' link on the menu bar. Do not follow the instructions posted on the other thread because they take you to the old gallery which we don't use anymore.

It should automatically log you in and then you need to create an album. After that, upload your file and select the album. Then copy the image location and paste it into the popup window which comes up after pressing

Rigger, I'm still trying to find the thread about logging into the gallery. I can post in the gallery and just trying to post a pic here now.

That seemed to work but not the easiest way I'm sure. I cut and pasted it by using the back button.

    Bought it 2 weeks ago.
It was parked outside the Irish bar in chiang mai, (owner was hurrying back to England, so I got it for a measlie 45,000 baht).

Frisco Frankie diagnosed some of the issues it had and we took it down to his local mechanics who have got it running beautifully all for 700 baht.

How much do you charge to 'bok soi'? I will go for B20 as the ride looks like it would be a blast...
