I think I will sell this one soon, not sure many old farts on here could handle it though. Pm me if interested. My work on this one is complete and need a new project to keep me occupied.

I got few bikes going this weekend.
A guy comes and picks up the TL to night. Dirt bike goes tomorrow as well as someone coming to look at shadow. I hope it all goes to plan so I can move some new blood in.
I hear e bay calling already

Looks very tidy Spin. If you want to get that ding out of your pipe then fill it with water and put it in a freezer. It works apparently and should pop right out.

^ Cheers for the tip, My freezer isn't big enough though. Was going to just block the ends up and then heat with an oxy-acety torch to pop it out. Then I will have it chromed again, even though travelmate doesn't approve, lets face it though, on this thread, who gives a fuck about anything travelmate ever said?

The trouble with the freeze method it can split your pipe. So care is needed. Freezing a chromed pipe mean you do not have to have it re-chromed.
But who waste money on chroming a pipe. It add weight. The exact opposite of what a dirt bike really needs. Leave it to the Harley boys to add chrome & tassels.

It must be easier to keep clean, especially the red dust that sticks to everything.

Oh, and no one gives a fuck what Travelmate has to say, as he's not made one worthwhile contribution to the forum ever.

Can you get your hands on a plasma cutter? Ensure you make a clocking mark in an inconspicuous location. Cut right next to the weld on the expansion chamber, gently tap out the dent with a body hammer on a thick piece of leather and TIG the expansion tube back together. Buff out the joint with polish and buffing wheel.

There is a great exhaust guy up here in Chiang Mai that could sort it out but is it worth it? Maybe find a commercial place with a freezer like an ice plant? I would google it because I read about it and some can split but yourr one is the same as my old husky I had and would be ok, some other types can split, I can't remember.

Oh, I did a part exchange on a Air Blade with my ER6N so I now own an Air Blade as well.

    Hardly worth posting a picture...

Now if I can only convince my ex wife to swap her PCX for it......

it likely Spin does, since he made a claim for a full on workshop.

Anyhooter since he like chroming. It's all in the preparation for a good quality finish. If Spin put some thought into it. He would have filled the dent with weld, grind it over, polish it over for a smooth finish and then send it off chroming.
With the finished chromed pipe no one would ever know.

But hey what the fuck would I know!

And Marshite, that's a good one! Make it easier to clean, if you chrome a dirt bike
Stick to talking about beers & Rugby & Udon.

Spin has a nice DB, sure would hate to keep it that clean. That appearance would last a minute around my house. Definately has hours of TLC init.
