I've got three people coming down to look at Nitnoy this week - I'm feeling a little sad.

I took out the wife's Honda Wave (110i) to see if it in any way compensates. A motorbike taxi immediately tried to cut across me and feed me into the back of a bus which made me see the red mist, thrashed the little grey fuker, and cut up every motorbike taxi I saw for the next 5 kms - that was enjoyable, especially as it was around Chareonsanitwong and Phra Nok which are notoriously dangerous accident spots. But, ultimately, the Wave is a fuking slow tractor which gave me very little riding satisfaction. I see the place of scooters, but they are f-King boring - I can see why the Thais add Brembos, Ohlins, engine BHP upgrades, loud exhausts and bright colours to their Honda Waves; if you didn't then you'd die from commute boredom.
