Took the beast out for a pre Summer cruise today, I'm contemplating selling it.
The big question is will I get the 5 grand back it stands me at??
Also what do I buy next??

Quite apart from the fact that you rejected posters advice in your original poll.

The Saab convertible would have been a good choice were it not for the involvement of GM drive trains and engines, after GM took over control of the brand. I apologise if your Saab predates GM involvement, but I’m not sure when your car was made?

£600 to pass its MOT then £435 road tax for the year!!!

On a positive my insurance has gone down..

It appears the new government are trying to rid the roads of cars registered between 2001 and 2017 by taxing them to death.

Oh yeah, higher road tax to reduce the number of older vehicles with higher emissions didn't exist six months ago.

I bought a 2011 Audi A1 1.6tdi in Aberdeen earlier this year.

ZERO TAX.

Which reminds me, I still need to find a new engine.
