    Looking for a Porsche 914

Hi there everyone, this is my first post. I'm retiring the Hua Hin soon and i am looking for a Porsche 914 to be a project. I am having a very hard time finding one in Thailand, but i know there must be at least one. Can anyone help me find one? Any rumors, or have you seen one somewhere? I'm happy to pay a 15,000 baht finder's fee to the person that directs me to one that i buy. Thanks for any help.

WOW! I had one when I was a kid. It was a go-kart and one of my all-time favorite cars. I bolted a 911 suspension on, so I could mount 5 bolt 911 wheels. One of the cars I regret selling the most.

Don't think I've ever seen or heard of a 914 here.

Would be quite pricey if there were one though (whatever the state of it).

Well, search for Thailand Porsche 914 and google adds 'Matchbox'.

Shit...that would have been an easy 15k.

Finding one is one thing. Getting the owner to part with it is another. Did they come with AC?

Hey Nick, you owe Barty 15k if you're mental enough to pay 3.2million for a car that was made in the 70s.

EDIT: THATS 80000 CANS OF LEO.

wow! over $100 grand in USD for a 914? That's amazing. I might as well buy a 911. I had no idea they were so expensive. Thanks for the response, but i think that is out of my reach.

He's managed to remove every ounce of class and charm from that vehicle, hasn't he.

Hey Nick, If you love european classic cars, you will be disappointing in Thailand, However Thailand has a flourishing pickup modification following, mechanics and panel modifiers are easy to find. And some are pretty good too. example>

And then in 2019 down to 7 seconds.

IDK, PH, Maybe you should ask Nick before you make assumptions about what he/she may or may not like. Im just pointing out the facts about here in Thailand, and throwing out a couple of prettttty good videos to show the dominance of Thai 3.0Liter diesel engine builders.

my first second-hand car at 16 (payment were about 50.00/month). Not mine pictured below but same color

5th gear was kind of funny. When approaching a steep incline [only one bridge (at the time) on the east coast of Florida] you had to downshift.

You think a shitbox pickup with a shitty tune belching black diesel smoke from the exhaust is the same as a 1300hp blown big block HQ doing a skid ?

Jesus wept you really are a fucking retard aren't you.
