Here we go;
Honda Sonic forks, exhaust, as new. Pattaya.
Husqvarna is sold
Local made to my design, but excellent quality, Cordura with external amour sewn in as shown : 2600 baht. I wanted a decent jacket that local riders could afford and these fit the bill, Very well made with heavy duty zips, they are actually as good as anything imported but without the brand name.
Might have to get me one of these next time i'm back in thailand..do they have built in back protection (spine armour) ?

Sorry guys for being a bit off-topic but this is probably the section with most knowledge about importing.
A mate of mine sent me a 3 month old(used) Apple IPhone II from the US with Fedex.
It was declared as a personal gift together with a pro forma invoice stating the
value to be $100.
The value is of course higher but it is really a gift and I was not even aware of the
packet content as it was intended as a surprise for me.
The phone has arrived in Bangkok but Fedex can not customs clear it - their explanation being that only Apple distributors are allowed to import them to Thailand
I have been given the option of having the phone destroyed (sure you will you thieveing bastards) or finding a personal customs broker who can do the import.
Any ideas?
Anyone knows a good customs broker who do these kind of jobs?
Fvck fedex, it's stated on the shipment as a GIFT, they cannot deny this. I would contact Apple and tell them of this situation ASAP and I would tell customs that you are doing that exact thing. I would think (Thai fedex doesn't give a shit) but that Apple doesn't want customers to be posting bad things about their biz. Might help or it could be that you are just pissing in the wind, hell, TIT.
Fedex is reported by many people here in Thailand as being the most corrupt buggers around. I will never ship with them until they clean up their act.

Thanks Eli,
I have told them a porkie , that I have been in contact with Apple Inc USA and that Apple are only concerned about mass import for business but doesn't care about a phone imported for personal use
And I requested Fedex Thailand to give me the reference number of Apples
exclusive import rigth license which they of course couldn't do.
The sender has also been in contact with Fedex in US and they have tried to push it through but it seems Fedex Thailand doesn't care, they feel they are sitting safe..
I may be fecked though, I googled import restrictions for Thailand and used mobile phones are listed as prohibited from import.
Furthermore, for importing mobile phones (new) one needs an approval/license from
Cable and Telecomm (CAT) because it contains a radio transmitter.
The only opening I see now is that they asked me to find a personal customs broker who can customs clear it.
Strange isn't it that another customs broker can import it, but Fedex can't..
I think I'm gonna email the custom clearance guy at Fedex and ask him if he can recommend me a good personal customs broker.
I've got a feeling that this is what they expect me to do
I am not surprised to hear that and my mate has already told me that he will neverOriginally Posted by Eliminator

Im not recommending them, simply letting you know where you can find the parts. Ive had my share of bad experiences with them and i know others also have so be careful when dealing with them and certainly dont be buying bikes from them.
^ Cheers.
Anyone want parts for H-D's ? I've got some bits to sell. Exhaust system, fender, seat plus lotsa little stuff. Just email me if you're interested.
I know there is a bike breakers yard out off the Rangsit Nakhon Nayoke road turn off to Wang Noi, I don't have directions but I'm sure you can do some research, I am not saying they will have what you need but it may be worth a look.
