I have had Honda CRV windshields replaced here in the Philippines twice - rocks kicked up from passing trucks. USD$800 a pop if I recall correctly; fortunately I had comprehensive insurance in one case. In the other, the trucking company paid. Since I wasn't paying, I had it done both times at the Honda dealer. Good luck.

Should be claimable on yer insurance. It never affected my next years premium. If you have the sun film on the screen they should replace that as well. If you have new sun screen fitted and you have GPS then ensure its compatible. My Toyota deales didn't give a shit and fitted non-compatible sun screen and caused me big probs.

This will be a bonded in windscreen which will require cutting out with a cheese wire. Invariably during the cutting out operation, paint scratches on the metalwork surrounding the windscreen will be inflicted (no matter how careful the windscreen fitter is), if these scratches are not touched up before the rubber surround is fitted, corrosion will take place where it cannot be seen, until such time that the corrosion is well established.

Iam in Chonburi and use Thai Auto Glass, they cut the screens out with blades and other assorted tools (no cheese wire).
I dont know the price of a screen for your HRV but the screen in my Maz 3 is Bt.7,000 (genuine screen as no aftermarket available for top spec vehicle) and the screen for my Ranger was Bt.3700 (non genuine).
