Thread: Bangkok Motor Show 2017 (with photos)

A short trip to Bangkok last weekend, necessitated by new passport collection (see thread https://teakdoor.com/bangkok-forum/17...mvit-13-a.html (Sukhumvit 13)) gave me the opportunity to go to the last day of the motor show.

Very large venue (Impact) and the show was spread over 3 halls. The largest was for new cars (and motorcycles), one for accessories, and one for used cars (which I didn't bother looking at.

I took quite a lot of photos, so will post them in batches. The domestic producers (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Isuzu, Chevrolet etc) were much in evidence, and as you can see their newest products in virtually every Tesco car park, didn't bother taking any photos of those.

Anyway:

The 'Pretties' on display were quite demurely presented, no doubt in deference to the current year of mourning.

And that's it folks. Hopefully some will have found it interesting. I thought for 100 baht admission fee (note no farang pricing), it was pretty good value.

The Roller convertible is something to behold, it's a piece of art but who in their right mind would buy a convertible in Thailand, let alone one that probably costs North of 20 million Baht!.

Incidentally, each of the Rolls Royce on display had 'Sold' stickers on them. All the photos/video were taken with my phone.
