    My old Lotus on BAT!

I sold my Elan S4 in 2009 when living in Vancouver. The buyer in Washington is now moving the car along. I did a full restoration on a new frame in 1990. Curious to see what it brings.

Lotus Elan was one of the top trumps when I was a kid.

But the Lamborghini Countach was the daddy

    Very nice car.
    An affordable classic.
Makes you wonder where Toyota got the inspiration for the MX5.

I don't think they got the inspiration from anywhere as the MX5 is a Mazda model.

28,500USD with no radio or the plethora of kit that modern cars come with.... and some guy reckons thats supposed to be cheap for it.

Sod that, gimme Buriram Boy's Mazda with ABS, traction control and some thinning scissors any day

    Pansy hairdresser.

Not going to say how much I just paid for this, I’ll never hear the end of sudden expert opinions from my fan club, but driving it puts hair on your chest (cf. shaving it from your legs and armpits):

Candy-ass ABS and other driving aids not included. I want to slide around corners!

It doesn't have the faired in headlights. Is that because it is an old 1961 or because it is a merkin export?
