what improvements do they give you specifically?
I have a few bikes and unless I ride them hard I cannot see the difference
You can have the best tyres in the world but it will be made nil and void by the state of the tarmac you are riding on, spend your money on the right gear in case you have an off
Good luck with the bike cmn and ride safe mate
The IRC's take a long time to warm up, and the grip diminishes shorter into their life.
They've also got far less grip in the wet.
A Kawasaki. I drive one, too, but a Vulcan.

The new ones are quite nice, but the first thing I would do is change the pipes. I would think a set of strait pipes would sound nice with the 650.
I have a Scorpion taper red with baffles out. Never been stopped and a quick rev bomb is much more effective than a toot of the horn. Never been stopped for the exhaust.
I read with interest the comments on how the Pirelli is a great improvement over the stock IRC tyres. Do people stay with the original sizes i.e. 110/70 and 130/70 or go for a 140/70 rear?
Many thanks.
