As soon as you attach an elbow joint on the gorpro, it sucks. The Drift is built like a tank with a battery life of 3hrs. Additionally, with its rotating lens it can be more or less mounted anywhere without elbow joint. Waterproof out of the box too. I have driven over it, this thing is the dogs.

If you mount the Gopro to the helmet is is fine so long as you don't mind looking like a twat. Good on a chest harness too. But that's it as far as motorcycles go. Oh, it is not bad if you mount it upside down.

Surfing, get the gopro, otherwise it is overpriced bollix!

All three do audio. With no mic the gopro is the best. With mic the drift is the better, not to mention the neatest. Gopro requires a stupid adapter lead to enable your 3.5mm jack. Hence making the box susceptible to rain damage as there is a gaping hole in the box for the cable.

Reckon you'll put a pipe on her?

They make a fantastic sound. Different to the P-Twin Ninja 650's and the P-Twin CBR500's. Think they have a different firing sequence, the others fire at the same time, making them sound like a thumper, but the Ninjette fires separately giving them a great tone and pitch.

The Benelli 302 also sound great, not sure about them, looks like the engine came from a tractor.

Anyway, what's your plans for her? Or keep her virgin pristine?

planning to change the stock tyres for pirelli sports dragons next week but i might even hold off on that because the stock tyres don't seem too bad

I haven't heard of any crack-downs in a long long time.

But of course different places different police. normally common in Pattaya and Hua Hin.

There's a Japanese company that has production in Thailand - Tsukigi.

They started putting TIS stamps on their pipes. - Thai Industry Standard that marks them as fully legal.

Usually about 10k baht I think for a full-system for a twin. Maybe cheaper. Was about 7k but the price went up once the got the legal stamp.

my mate bought a lovely 18 month old ninja 300 in the special orange colors a few months back

it had a few mods including a yoshimura exhaust

he got pulled for it and paid 200 baht i think

he actually bought it from the piston shop who told him he should have showed them the TIS stamp

in any case..he got scared and replaced it with the stock exhaust

Maybe you might be able to buy the exhaust off your mate at a good price.
