Pathumthani – 12 February 2015 – Mitsubishi Motors Thailand announces today that The All New Triton mega cab with double-hinge door and single cab will be available on February14, 2015 at All the New Triton Day event and Mitsubishi showrooms nationwide. The new line up uses a superior durability and tough chassis frame “Super Frame” provide high safety, higher payload capacity with a more comfortable interior. The new Triton features three-engine line up: 2.4L MIVEC clean diesel aluminum alloy block engine offers outstanding performance and fuel efficiency with a 20% improvement from previous the model, 2.5L diesel turbo intercooler and 2.4L gasoline engine which have a price tag ranging from 475,000 THB – 818,000 THB.

Still no 4 x 4 though with this model only 4 door WHY??

Not at all safe in roll over!!! No center support. With the habits of asian driving I would not even concider it. Get the four door, worth it unless you dont value your life. Just sayen.

My Toyota Smart cab 4 x 4 with these doors is great, 4 door pickups are useless for working on the farm make the bed far too small, and only just over 1000 baht a year for road tax, bargain.

Suicide doors are ones that open independently, these do not and are perfectly safe.

Agree a 4x4 would be awesome I like the Mitsu but prefer 4 x 4's.
