Thread: license renewal... curious

have just been to renew my 1 year license for a 5 year with the missus. all straight forward, do the eye test again and pay the dang. just about to get in the car and the missus wanted to look at my license, she then noticed that i got 1 year more than her even though we did the test on the same day, both car and bike. being a bit miffed she went to esquire about it and as i sat in the car i realized they had given her 5 years but they had given me 6. i bolted out of the car to tell her to say feck all ,but she was already on her way back. i told her she still had 5 years and she said, its ok, they told her that as my birthday fell on a certain month the software on the computer automatically gave me 6 years not five!
