Thread: Crossing the Border at Sadao.

If you are to cross the border at Sadao into Malaysia you know you need Insurance & a Rego sticker.

The Insurance is quick & easy
But the Transport Dep stick they like to look at what you are driving.
I drive a pickup truck with a box.
Well they told me the box will have to go back to Thailand I can not take that to Malaysia, The box has all of my tools & equipment.
No you can not have that box in Malaysia.
This is the 4 time no problem 5 time to cross the border at Sadao.
Now we move to the next problem, the Tinted widows.
They tell me I will have to remove the film of the 2 side window.
OK the guy from the transport Dep wait for his boss to come.
The Boss come & tell me no box & no Tint.
After 10 minute I talk with him again thinking maybe he need some money.
I ask what we can do, his reply is you help me & I will help you.
He tells me to take the tint film of the window & the box can go with me.
OK I pull the film of the 2 windows.

So if you go to cross into Malaysia 50% tint is now aloud

This on you can see a small amount of the film left also the the rubber inside seal has gone inside the door ( fvcking Wvnker )



You can see the tint on the back window.

Fair call on the tint, don't understand the objection to the box though.
That's kinda what pickups are for, carrying things......unless it was the tools that were the problem.

Not the tools but the box was the problem.
The tint was only 50% & I have no tint on the wind screen
There laws are 40% on side windows & no tint on the windscreen
