It does indeed, now that I look it up. Never heard of it before. Quite a smart saloon car from that 3/4 angle, the profile at the rear maybe less so. With a 5.7L V8 in it I'd be happy to be seen driving one of those. My green credentials would take a hit though.

yes its an xj.

i saw one in thailand. about 5 years ago i was taken to the jaguar maintenance facility in bangkok where they service their cars, it is part of a huge complex and there were many valuable classics stored there. there was an xj220, i was told it had been there for years, it was covered in dust and apparently has never been driven. there were also cars there from the royal fleet, rolls royces and mercedes benz limos, being serviced and some lovely old delage dropheads that belonged to the then crown prince. i wanted to take photos there but they wouldn't let me.

The concept car was supposed to come with a V12. But then it came with a V6. Some customers even sued Jag. But as the video shows, the car was still fast as hell. And it beat the Buggati in that race.

Sales wise it didn't do very good. But that is why there is renewed interest in it now. And it wasn't actually as bad as the sales suggest. The car didn't get a fair shake at the time.
