It was a mad idea to squeeze a V8 lump into a hairdresser's car. I had a friend with an MGB, much teased about it. He was a handsome and charming guy, plenty of girlfriends and all the comments were water off a duck's back. The V8 was a different proposition, they were well cool, or whatever the jargon was in those days. Someone in my town had one in British Racing Green. That hatchback style was new or very uncommon, I don't remember if the Reliant Scimitar came before or after the MGB GT.
I do remember that the V8 was not an MG idea. I'll admit I had to look up a couple of details, it was a long time ago and I could only recall some parts of it. In short, an auto-engineer Ken Costello had the idea to do what British Leyland had decided was impossible and fit a V8 in and MGB. Then he did one in and MGB GT and then he set up his own business. BL were jealous, started their own production and tried to kill his business by cutting off his supply of engines. In the end BL made not very many of the GTs.
That red thing is a Volvo.
^^ Volvo PV61. technically a Cabriolet
At school you have to put the workings or method of arriving at the answer in the RH margin.
So.
Look at picture.
If answer not immediate look more closely at the picture.
If badge on bonnet/hood not obvious look more closely.
Look even more closer at picture. In this case the hubcaps. Says Volvo.
Search internet for vintage Volvo P cars. Because old model Volvos numbers start with a P (P1800)
Obviously in this case the left-hand drive steering wheel is subterfuge

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.
You people, you think I know feck nothing; I tell you: I know feck all
Those who cannot change their mind, cannot change anything.
Sweden drove on the left until 1967-ish. Unless built for export then a Swedish car prior to 1967 would have the steering wheel on the right. There is no reason why a Swedish car would not be built for export but showing a pre 1967 car with the steering wheel on the left suggests it comes from a country which drives on the right.
it looks like a modified alfa romeo.
surprised you mentioned that after seeing the crash.I did some work on that.
Yep Alfa based.

Nothing I did on the vehicle was a cause for the accident.
D
De svenske biler, Volvo og Saab, fyldte godt på vejene dengang. Men de svenske biler var siden lang tid udstyret med rattet i venstre side af hensyn til eksporten. Omlægningen havde derfor ingen stor betydning for bilfabrikkerne
From danish wiki
Ask Lom when he shows up
Edit:
Checked some more
Seems that the swedish cars always were left hand steered.
Whatever
