My first car in the early 80's was a 1951 Humber Hawk. A chap around the corner had a Super Snipe and I envied him for it as it was bigger. However, the Hawk would fit 10 teenagers at a pinch for lunch time pizza runs from school.

I've never seen one of these before.

For me, Fugly ... but comes with a decent sized donk

Oh, the name on the vehicle doesn't give a clue ... I've checked that already.

I remember my time in OZ and all the guys there had ROO bars on anything they drove for any long distance runs.

^I missed taking a roo out on the drive home one night last year by millimeters. It just hopped right in front of the car at the last second as I was doing about 80. No way could I react. It was all over in a second. Big grey roo bang in the headlights hopping at top hop then gone and miraculously no contact. One second later and it would have wrecked the front end and maybe even come through the windscreen.

Must be a lottery riding a bike in the bush at night. I had a Thai girl with a CBR1000 a while back who came out to my forest on her bike a few times but she wouldn't come after dark.

I liked the sound she made in her creaking leathers

I once had a 1971 Plymouth Satellite 2 door with a 383cuin V8. I loaned it to my older brother when he got out of the Navy. He promptly bent all the pushrods doing wheelstands so I took away the keys.

I then sold him an AM General Postal Jeep I bought at auction from the US Postal Service. I paid 200usd. I had my buddy install blue shag carpet in it, dont ask me why. It seemed the cool thing to do. That and a sick tuner.

Not long after I "sold" it to him the gas tank began leaking. That was enough of an excuse for him to stiff me on the 200 bucks. Such a cry baby. Waa waa.

He backed into my '73 Mustang Fastback just barely creasing the chrome around the rear wheel well. You have to really look to see it but it's still there. Every now and then I'll remind him that he still owes me a new chrome piece. Where to find one now who knows. Not that I really care all that much about it but it's funny just to see him squirm if and when I bring it up. It's got 72k on the Chasse an has not seen a winter for as long as I've had it. Maybe I'll post a pic someday.

    What a novel idea.
    I'll start now.
So a high school pal says I need to sell my 78 Z28. Had a cracked wind shield and a poped out headlight.

Why I ask the duck. Yes his name was Jonney the duck. Aka the bronze god. Had a gig as a white water rafter up noth on the Peshtigo River. Awsome tan hence the title. Wound up banging his bosses wife to much dismay. Thus the busted stuff. Hence he had to ditch the rod before he wound up in one. A ditch that is.

I kept it a number of years and finally put it in the paper. Two cats came over to scope it out. Said they raced at Slinger. I had no insurance so couldn't let them drive. One cat sat in the back, the other on my right. I took them for a screamer and the car was sold.

"As is was" written on the bill of sale. 650usd is all it took, or should I say, was all I thought it was worth at the time. On his way out of Dodge I could hear the dude light them up at every stop. The next day he was back claiming the Z spit an axle on the highway. I showed him the bill of sale and said thats that. Fortunately no one was hurt and I kinda felt for the chap having had to tow the car home so I gave him a hundred dollars hoping to ease his pain Knowing damn well my windows were worth more than that. Back then you could buy a used rear end for the same. Come to think of it you can still buy a used rear end today for that if in Pattaya. Perhaps the brew town too, aint been looking as of late.

The Z was fun but I loved the Ford more. Hell it's been so long now I forgot what car I traded for a 54 caliber Thompson Center fire Scout black powder rifle. Now that's mercan. I seppo you'll kick me in the nutz now. Well earned, as was all the above mentioned.

If i hadn't been so surprised to see one would have taken a picture. I just walked past a Delorean being driven very slowly in traffic, shit mechanically but pretty rare to see one on the road.
