I was wondering if the "drug dealer" wheels came as standard equipment?

May be not the fastest production car in its time, but definitely the fastest 4 Door production car in 1971.

As I said do the drug dealer wheels come as stock

Although city living is having an effect on everyone even F1 is thinking about city type low profile tires.

Agreed VN [Oops no Commodore references here!].

The XY 'HO is probably the most iconic car ever produced in Oz. [And this from an ex Charger guy!]. I'd never Poo on it, but I think it looks best with the original globes and shaker - like off the showroom floor. The low profile stuff has its place though.... just not original 70's muscle cars.
On the GTHO: while I love to wave the Ozzie flag, I think we have to consider the context of its assurgence - Bathurst et al - and the stifling of the US muscle cars by smog laws: I mean the late 60's/1970 Roadrunners etc - 2drs as off the showroom floor - were quicker by a significant margin. And the 'Ho had to have the limiter adjusted post-sale to reach the claimed exotic speeds.
Still, a very fast taxi in its day!

Is the purpose of this to be correct or to stimulate the brain cells? Sure it is easy/obvious to look at the URL or to surf to find the answer. But isn't that like taking a smart phone to a pub quiz?

Isn't it more fun to attempt to guess based on form, look, knowledge, experience etc.?
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.

Car Paves the Way to the Future

    | FROM TLC STAFF | SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 |

ETV1A custom-built car going for $100,000 on eBay has created quite the stir with car enthusiasts and the motoring public.

Dubbed as an Extraterrestrial vehicle (ETV) for its unique appearance — a chassis that is said to resemble an alien space vehicle, according to a report in the U.K.-based news outlet The Metro — the car has doors that fold upward and has been likened to the DeLorean from “The Back to the Future” movies.

The car is built from scratch, with a body made from fiberglass and carbon with a one-inch steel tubular custom-made chassis.

Vetter says the drivetrain is a 2.2-liter, 4-cylinder Chevy motor with a supercharger and is “street legal.” The car has both front and rear camera systems that work simultaneously and has a completed LED color changing lighting system under the car and insider of the vents, “which creates a nice light show in the evenings,” Vetter says in his eBay post.

Read more about the car and its features on Better Roads’ website.

Yes that is a Chevrolet Cruze. Not posted as a mystery but to explain why I guessed Chevrolet/Daewoo for the futuristic looking one.
