Jaguar MkII meets Nissan Micra | Autocar
It's worth taking a quick diversion into the world of Mitsuoka. For those that don't know the brand they have to produce some of the most truly agonising retro car designs available.

    The Viewt from another angle:

    The Ray:

Yes, it does look remarkably similar to a Riley Elf...

... though why they would want to copy one of the wretched things is anyone's guess?

    The Galue:

And as it clearly wasn't quite ugly enough, they made a Galue Mk2:

They have also had a crack at making a rather camp looking smiley sports car, the Orochi:

But for the full Liberace nothing beats the Le Seyde:

Cudos to this fellow for taking one racing though:

There are other Mitsuoka horrors out there, but this is probably enough for now

The third one is a Lamborghini Gallardo.

For bonus points - were the pics taken in Georgetown, Penang. The Porsche and Maserati outside Plaza Gurney on the Gurney Drive side, the other two were somewhere around there...?

Very good Roobarb, the other 2 pics were taken only about 50 feet back, outside the G hotel.

Not sure why some models just stick in one's head

Peugeot 403 followed by a Renault 4 van.

I've been to Laos so I know what the military jeep one is but I won't spoil it for others.

The tank is the second best one in the world.

Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?

Exactly right a 403, happened to be my very first automobile. Good catch on the Renault in the background.

The Chinese jeep thing in Laos I don't really know what it is. I was hoping for someone to tell me.

Very close it's a 1960 300F. I just perused Hemmings motor news a they are advertised to over 200K usd.

The best one was the 300G which also sported the 413 wedge engine.

Ooooh, I know. Honda S2000. Nice car, although perhaps that particular colour combination is a bit iffy and the spoiler does aesthetically do just that.

    It's a GAZ 69, a Russian made thing from the mid 1950s.

VN reckons the tank is the second best one in the world so it's clearly not the Challenger 2 then as everyone knows that's the best . Is it an Abrams of some sort?

^ No worries, I saw a fair few of them out in Delhi when I lived there.

Here's a pic of an Indian fella looking at one exhibited at a classic car show I visited out there a few years back:

The old Ford has me a bit stumped. Looks to be 1920s. I'm pretty sure it's not a Model A, and am slightly less certain that it's not a Model T so, unable to remember any other Ford cars of that vintage, will hazard a guess at it being a Model T...?
