Is it maybe a Volkswagen Polo?
That was my first car (I had a red series II facelift)
My first thought was VW Golf.
^My first thought was Golf but then I could not remember if Golfs had got bigger than that in recent years.
They had to introduce a new model, the Lupo or something because the Polo had got too big to be the smallest car. That is car model inflation for you.
This little hatch has the sticky out butt...

Is that maybe a Renault? Clio?
^ definitely not a Lupo, its a hot hatch
It's a restored Singha Siam (or Singh Siam?) a pickup truck produced by Siam Motors in a venture with Datsun 1960s -1970s.
Siam Motors - History
Dr. Thavorn Pornprapa Founder of Siam Machinery Co., Ltd. on September 4, 2495 with its head office located at 891/1 Rama 1 Road, Pathumwan, to operate the business of trading new and old cars until becoming the sole dealer of Nissan Datsun cars in Thailand. It was Nissan's first overseas dealer. In 2505 [1962], Nissan established the first assembly plant in Thailand at Soi Srichan, Sukhumvit 67 under the name "Siam Motors and Nissan Co., Ltd." with a production capacity of 4 cars per day with only 120 employees

Made in New Zealand, one of about 3000 Trekka vehicles made in NZ in a joint venture with Skoda from Czechoslovakia in 1960s

^ My first car was a Mk I Escort in that same vapid pale blue. I never owned a Capri but often wished I had.
