Europe didn't need big bhp, they had lighter cars, better engines and didn't use tech from WWII.

And some style which disappeared in Mercan cars from the mid/late 60s.

Now if we are talking canuk, well the Briklin

The Mustang fox body in the 2600 pound range you wanker. A 1980 Porsche 928 had a V8 with 231 horses. 3100 pounds. I don't disagree that European cars were built better in some ways and were more dynamic. But you just sanctimoniously shit on every car on this side of the ocean with that broad brush. There are some good American cars you idiot.

Wind your neck in and calm down youngster. The yanks have woken up to the fact they basically produced, heavy, low tech poor quality vehicles between late 60s and 2015ish - the japs showed them how to produce cheap good quality but they chose to spend 50 years thinking about it in which time detroit has become a ghost town and mexico pumps out cheap quality across the border.

You post up pictures of some of examples of why the us auto industry went down the shitter and expect what?

I recall a friend lent me a Vitesse, which I think was a zippier Herald and the bonnet opened the whole front wing so you could sit on the wheel while doing the plugs !!. It would do over a ton downhill frighteningly flimsy, but wooden dash, quarterlights for when ashtrays full !!
