Not that bad boy, from the page I found on it seems it went balls to the wall for all-out sheer performance!

0-40 mph well over a minute on petrol only
36.4 seconds on the electric motor
    21.9 seconds in hybrid mode!

Yup, wouldn't pull the skin off a custard - which for me I suppose could be said to be a point in its favour.

I think that performance was clearly something of an issue.

Clearly ahead of its time! early 80's if I recall. Just that Briggs is not an auto maker and accounts and marketing and....

Even modern hybrids still play the HP game on the ICE. Prius went from 1.6l to 1.8l in a car built for fuel economy.

Not forgetting of course theat the Briggs and Stratton was designed when the speed limit in the US was still 55. So performance as such was not quite so important.

I was going to punt it as being a Commer commercial vehicle from the early 1960s, but with the wraparound windshield it's a bit too good looking for that and I have a suspicion it's from the other side if the pond.

Seven vertical vents in the grille - some type of Jeep?

She does appear to be struggling to support her front end, as indeed does her bikini top. Perhaps she's stopped for a rest?

Either that or following a night of drunken debauchery she was feeling a little uncomfortable down below and much to her forthcoming surprise, tempered with considerable relief I'd imagine, has just squeezed out a small electric car.

Sorry, I keep going back to the first picture for some reason.

The car in the second one looks 1970's Japanese. The bird's a clue eh?

    A Toyota Starlet perhaps?

    Nope.

    Suzuki Fronte:

    Nah.

Aha, what's this, sounds promising - Nissan Hardbody:

    No, not that one.

    Datsun Fairlady perhaps?

Clearly not, the bird's tits are far too small.

Shit, makes me hope the one you posted Albert is not actually a Cedric.

    Aha, Nissan Bluebird:

    No.

    Ummmm.

OK, the electric van thing has just emerged from where the sun doesn't shine.

    Datsun Sunny?

    Reckon I'm going with that.

    Nice clue Albert
