Mate of mine in the UK bought the latest 911 turbo with a manual gear box twas 120K stripped out version.

Big mistake, when you red line it in 1st or 2nd the engine cut out protection is so severe that you are thrown forward as if the car has hit a brick wall.

Bladdy dangerous in the wrong hands.

I would take an MX5 over the Chevrolet purely for driving pleasure.

Now that is one fun car on English country roads.
