Looking for a good VW mechanic to rebuild and make a VW 1600 cc look nice. Prefer Rayong or Pattaya but BKK is ok too.

Wouldnt a mechanic do the engine only?

I thought there was a VW rebuilding place near your house, AO?

I could build it if I was in country.

I saw it about 10 years ago whilst getting lost trying to find your house. Fek knows where it is or if it even exists any more.

I used to have a westphalia camper, dead gutless, but then again I was expecting a bit much as towed a trailer with a formula atlantic race car, back in the old days, when Men were men and sheep were petrified (with fear).

Without a shadow of a doubt I'd recommend Kevin at Car Kolor in Sattahip. Great guy and incredible work from him and the team of guys he has working there with him.

Not cheap but not expensive, the phrase 'You get what you pay for' Has never been more appropriate than it is with bodywork, go and check out the work they are doing and you'll see that you certainly get what you pay for! He also uses top quality products!

Prices not too bad actually. Love what they did to the mini. Before I left Thailand I sold my 1967 Paddy Hopkirk Mini which looked very similar.
