Being retired and not having to drive all over like you Rat, I've put a whopping 120K km on my 2010 Vigo. Might trade it in next year although these Toyota trucks do hold up a lot longer than the Chevy or Ford. Saw one of those new Rangers go by the other day and the back bumper was already shaking loose from its mounts.

Quite impressive.

I've got 80,000 kilometers on a 6 year old Yaris, and 116,000 on a 7 year old Honda CBR-150. Both vehicles have been flawless.

So if I walk how many kilometres can I travel each day, as 493,381 / 365 days per year / 8 years = 168.96 kilometre per day.
Now the average walking speed is about 5 kilometre's per hour, I think that may be I will stick with driving.

OK we have the magic number 8 year Hilux Vigo 4 X4
it don't burn oil or black smoke

I just turned 110K with my 2010 Hilux Vigo 4X4.

No black smoke. 1 set of new tires at 87K. 1 new battery last year. 2 turn signal (rear) bulbs replaced.

3rd Battery for me 1 water pump replaced 1 service after the cVnts who did the timing belt,did not do a good job.
As Toyota told the TGF water pump was leaking, she told them put a new water pump.
When she came back from service I had a look at the water pump & it had a leaky gasket.

Guess that all depends on which Toyota service place you go. Hopefully, the one I've been using wll maintain a high standard. Taking your vehicle to a Cockpit or other for anything other than a nail/screw in the tire is asking for trouble.

I had a 30,000 kms service done on my Mazda BT50 in April last year. Since then I have only added 5,000 kms to the clock. Do all my traveling on my motorbikes.

In fact, I put 2,000 baht of diesel in the tank last November and I still have half a tank showing on the guage now.

340,000 on my honda civic


all over Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia and mabye 25,000 of those on shit roads

There's nothing I enjoy more than driving coast to coast across the US and I highly recommend it to anyone. Used to do it every year until my father died in 2014.

I hate every f--cking kilometer here, it's like a football game without a referee.

Could not agree more Bob. Last year I took the family all over the west coast. Over 2,000 miles. Never swore never got the least bit angry.

The first day back I took the kids to school, and they were dying laughing. "What up" I asked. "Dad we have driven for 2 minutes and you have said fcuk 5 times" Its that simple.
