Yes, the BRZ has dual outlets straight out the back. Looks nice. Sounds like the stock muffler bolts right on but may have to make some cut outs in the bumper. Pretty quiet but louder than the XV.

How much an will you get more oomph?

They have a BRZ you can test drive in the Pattaya showroom. A very nice looking motor for 2.6m.

No idea on price but they should be able to supply them now they are selling them but as its a fully imported car the parts will be very expensive. Ill ask and see how much. The guy on the Subaru forum I read said it went a little better.

They are also using magnaflow mufflers with nice looking results, shouldn't be too hard to have one sent in and a local shop fit it up.

There's also this mob, he's making all sorts of exhaust options for impreza's, websites not updated, can email.

Here's a real simple solution, should sound good and cheap too.

I am deciding on buying an XV very soon, and was wondering if everyone is still happy with it, and checking to see if there have been any problems. I have owned Subarus before in the US, WRX and an STI, never had a single issue with either one after several years of ownership.

    Thanks!

Hi Aaron. No complaints with mine, I still love driving it and reckon it's a great car for Thai roads. No faults or rattles yet either but have only put 10000 klm on it so far. Happy with the servicing too in Chiang Mai. Go for it.

The wife drove mine through a 1 meter deep flooded road less than 2 months after I bought it. Almost 6 months later and the insurance company are still stalling on replacing the fukker.

Up until then though it was a great car.

I appreciate the input guys. Looks like that will be the car of choice, they have a good promo right now for 0% interest.

Sucks about the insurance company. Most the people I know have had good luck with the insurance companies, but it has always just been minor fixes, nothing major.

Last time I popped into Subaru Pattaya I noticed they had the orange sporty one in stock. I then noticed the paintwork was quite dull and found out they had just given a standard a new colour.

Just looked like a cheap job, imo
