I know of a few, do you want them with a legit green book?
You'd can PM me if you need help.
Cheers
PM sent
Thanks
There are a few SR fans on here, in fact there is a new series out, I saw it in OZ called cafe racer.
Features SRs and and Steet racers. But i would go for a sr500, hard to get and with a book I can only imagine the price but its going to be very high.
There cant be good living where there is not good drinking
The missus got someone to come look at the washing machine and he turned up on a lovely SR V twin. I love the sound of these old single cylinder thumpers and there are some lovely 500's kicking about the island here but getting a nice one with a book would be hard to come by.
Treat everyone as a complete and utter idiot and you can only ever be pleasantly surprised !
I'll put my hand up for any SR500, don't care for green book.
To the OP, jump on facebook and search for SR400 Pattaya, there is a few Thai guys selling bikes and parts around here.
Is there much price difference between a 400 cc and a 500 cc?
I know a Thai guy payed 41,000B for SR400 with book
Fondle payed around the 80,000b.
I think that you will have to be at the right spot at the right time to find what your looking for
Nope a Yamaha V twin that is of the same style as the SR and from the same era. It wont let me post a picture of it but the link to loads of pictures is here
yamaha srv motorcycle - Google Search
TBF I have never seen that bike before, thank for the link.
I have a SRX600 now she's 640 with a 99mm piston.
With straight though exhaust.
As said I love the Sr singles just for the sound they make and this V Twin sounded sort of twice as good if you know what I mean Different to your normal V Twin Lovely looking as well and it had a plate on it so I will have to call by and ask if it has a book.
It looks like the SRV are only 248cc

Good lookin bikes, shame they are only 250cc as Ratch mentions.

Good luck, nice bikes. To be honest I was unaware of the 500 model, plenty 400s kicking about though.
Hi guys
I think a good start would be reading my SR buying guide:
go to omega-racer dot blogspot dot com and search for "Buying an SR in Thailand"
(sorry, not allowed to post links)
If you're looking for an SR with green book, I would go and check out the srthailand.com forum. There are lots of SR for sale, sometimes even with book.
