Thread: xjr 1300 for sale.

due to a mate having a major accident i am being pressured , again, to sell my baby.

it is a 2003 ? japanese imported xjr 1300, 36 000 k's on the clock ,registered in my name, so can transfer to a falang name easy.
it has a rack on the back and comes with a large rack bag , australian made, the rack is removable and a grab rail can be put in its place.
the bike was recently tuned by piston shop in chiang mai and she goes like a train.
i will be in pattaya for the next week so if anybody is interested they can contact me for a look.

yes it has a number plate and green book in my name , just not displayed in photo.

i recently got it registered in thailand before that i was running on tax receipts however i paid the money and got fu@#ed around for nearly 6 months but it is all legal now.
can send a pic if requiered or look at the bike , up to you.

p.s. i have emailed a english website to verify age of bike, as there in no compliance plate which is found on all australian bikes, and they have informed me it is a 2003 model. last model prior to fuel injection, i may be wrong on this account but they went of engine/frame numbers on the bike.

Buying a bike or a tuk tuk with no plates isn't illegal.

Driving them on the road is, and you will be dealt with harshly. A fine of 200 baht, no less. Be warned.

The problem is that a Copy of invoice or similar doesn't prove ownership, If a cop or even a denizen in the street thinks he owns it, nothing to stop him taking it.

to anybody genuinely interested i would be more than happy to accompany you to the nearest registry department to ensure a legal, hasty and stress free transfer of ownership/registration.
