    Cheers for that.

I've been using "Somchais Spanner Emporium" located on the roadside in a collapsable bag.

    Bought my Sidchromes from Oz.
There are some nice looking socket sets in the markets, are they all fake?

Make sure you get a decent torque wrench (5-80lbs 3/8" is good for a bike) for maintenance like properly seating oil filters (decent aftermarket ones have a 3/8" nut on them so you won't need a separate oil filter wrench, but if you do need one they're cheap off eBay).
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I agree- I like to check out the quality before buying (I was going to say 'I like handling tools' but that didn't sound right...)- it's hard to find anything decent in LOS, though- I've never seen a really good hardware store here- my old torque wrench was 'borrowed' and never returned- I just ordered a cheap one (if it's less than 5% off I'll be surprised) until I head back to the States and grab a new (probably digital) one.

The eBay oil filter wrenches are just sockets, though, and are only a few hundred baht- I will order something like that sight-unseen.

If you know why do you keep trying to teach me the right way.
As you can not teach a old dog a new trick
