Well, after about a years break because of brother dying, garage on fire, holidays, bad weather, etc, I am back on the case. Decided to remove one engine for a better profile and balance. Also started buying parts of the correct era.

Great to hear from you again Hensen. So pleased that most of your troubles are now behind you and looking forward to seeing more of that incredible build you have in store for us.

Wonder if he is interested in doing a job on my boat? Looks wonderful, looks expensive, looks skilful just some of the reasons I'd never do anything like this.

good stuff. taking the third engine off will certainly balance the aesthetics and make for a more credible design.

    love those american lamps too.

nice of that other car nut alan partridge to do the voiceover for your video.

Not easy to make two engines run as one - your engine balance job has to be perfect on BOTH engine builds and then you have to make all linkages work in tandem so that each engine opens the throttle at the same time. A lot of thinking goes into this kind of a project. Vibration is another huge factor that has to be dealt with as it can bring death to many components if not done properly.

You have my admiration Henson, being a confirmed dyed in the wool car nut from my early days when I when my best mate let me play with his dads race car a Ferrari 250F, later I was offered and accepted a job with Bruce McLaren, but don't know that I could have the tenacity that you have on your special.

Costing 13 grand to get it home.
Taking delivery soon. Owners father started a boat tail mod in 1965, but sadly died soon after. Therefore, no bodywork from the rear axle backwards. Has been owned by father and obviously son ( after Dads death ) since 1955. Low mileage, engine stuck with standing, but drove into the garage where it still is after 52 years. Mucho spanner work, me thinks.

Henson, if you don't want it, I'll beg borrow or steal the money for that project. That project would give me a woody all the way through and would be a joy to drive around. I wish I could find something like that.
