    Buying A Car

When we are in Thailand later this year, rather than continually renting a car, we should purchase a car ( truck ) I'me talking good secon hand.
Is it correct if your purchase the car on HP type terms, you usually get a better deal, from the car sales people, the reason being they get a return over a longer time.
If so, what are your suggestions ??

If you check the numerous threads here about buying a car, new is the way to go. Second hand prices are very high and differ little from new with a car a couple of years old. If you or a partner car get finance that would be the way to go. There are some very good finance deals at the moment.

You don't get a better deal on finance as the overall cost is higher.
A set of car mats and some fluffy dice dice work out to be pretty expensive at 2%
