Don't waste your baht buy a good quality one. CTEK MXS 5.0 made in Sweden. More expensive but will last. Mine stays connected to boat over winter, no issues after 3 years.

    buy a cheap trickle charger.
your battery is only gonna draw power while it is discharged.
that's why they have an amperemeter so you can tell when your battery is charged, and once it drops to zero on the meter, you do not have to switch it off at all..
fully discharged battery is gonna draw 5+amps on one of these shitty cheap chargers and will drop to zero when fully charged. i.e. the charger will not supply charge beyond what the battery draws and it will draw no amps while it is fully charged so you can leave it connected to the charger permanently without causing any damage.
the new "smart" chargers are 'kkin expensive and a total waste of money.
    think about it:
your home burglar alarm; electric gate opener; garage door opener; electric security fence, all use modern shitty low maintenance batteries, permanently connected to one of these shitty chargers (essentially just a transformer and a bridge rectifier), so go waste your money if you want, but you don't need a "smart" charger 'coz your battery ain't smart!
your car's alternator will supply 30 to 100 amps and sometimes even more if needed, depending on the alternator but won't overcharge your battery because the battery won't draw beyond what it needs, so all the latest bullshit on the modern bikes about having to charge on a "special" charger, is just that: bullshitttt!
just make sure that you disconnect the battery from the bike before charging to prevent damage to the silly sensitive electronics that they put on the modern shit and you will be perfectly safe .

    Hey I resemble that remark

We use very good quality "shitty low maintenance batteries" connected to.....

I use one of our energizers to charge the battery on my bike. It puts out 14.5v if the battery is low and comes down to 13.x towards the end. They are float chargers not trickle.

    Ordered one from this place...

    V.V.P.4x4CENTER

2000 shipped to KhonKaen so 300 baht cheaper than banana speed. I need a charger like this for my cb1300 cause it has the comfort connect eyelets that let me connect to the batt and run it up under the plastic under the seat so i don't have to hassle with taking the plastic covers of the battery front which also houses a lot of the many electrical components so to lessen the chance to damage them. Just pop the seat off and connect the charger to the comfort socket. Also it slow charges and won't overcharge the batt or damage other components, hopefully...
