Malaysia- A week away working in Kuala Kubu Bharu

Well guys last month I had to go to Malay for work. Just some pictures for ya, hope you enjoy...........


Not a great start,the plane had a punture and they lifted it to replace the tyre with a hand Jack. Who'd a thunk it




Baggage reclaim was chaos

And the cheapo terminal was more like a bus station

About a three hour drive from KL to Kuala Kubu Bharu. So we stopped for refreshment at a park with waterfalls, quite nice really

The Hotel was nice from the outside, was located on a golf course







My loom

My loom, proper shite, stank of mould, when I went to the bathroom, I realised why

No bum gun but some would of enjoyed it!!!

The only resteraunt that sold anything resembling 'food'

Working, training the 'Bomba' fire fighting managment. Using theory and simulations

The Malays don't seem to like Pappaya as much as Thais, all the trees were bursting with them, you never see that in Thailand


On the third day, this mysterious appeared next to my bed and also next to the mirror, secret admirer



Not even the taxi driver knew what that sign meant and they were everywhere :clueless:


After a week of work back to KL



Hotel in KL was nice

Room was plain but comfy

Last night and after a week of being in an area where alcomohol is banned, a few beers

Had to foking sleep there for 14 hours untill my rescue came.

Got of the plane at midnight and left my wallet on it, was stuck in that airport with only 50baht, thank fok I packed a bag of Lays and a can of coke.

Had to beg money off someone for the important call home. Asked a Aussies who said no and then an Argentinian who said yes. Real good lad that stayed chatting for ages. The English Argy Bargy was forgotten as we still talked about that foking Diego Maradona Goal in '86 and the Falklands

Evertime I've been to KL it's been the crappest time of all my travels, hate it there

Nice pix. I like KL, like the little park behind the Petronas towers and going up to Genting casino to watch all the "serious" gamblers. The gondola ride is real nice, too.
