    Bobcock in Kuala Lumpur

Have done a photography thread for a while, got loads to catch up on, a stunning trip to india, visits to Osaka and Kyoto and these....

Had to take a couple of trips to KL recently, always nice, have a lot of former colleagues based there so good to catch up with them as well.....

The first trip I lost over 500 photos due to a defective CF card, bit pissed off because I took some stunning twin towers shots from a location that was not available to be during the second trip.

we'll start at the end of trip one with a trip to the Batu Caves

No, it's just a hobby for me, my day job takes up way too much energy to want to turn the photography into anything that rerquires more effort.

    Monkey at the Batu Caves...

These Hindus sure do have a sense of humour....

Wow, I was expecting something 3 feet long. Such brilliant photos from a compact camera.

    Excellent choice there Bob.

This is what it looks like when I'm using mine with accessories... although this is still the inferior kit lens that it can be bought with.....

^ Still looks brand new. You should use that kit rather than the compact.

What photo edit suite do you use Bob? PS ?

Buy one of these compacts Bob, do some night time shots. You may need to start exhibiting when you see the price

    Sultan Abdul Samad Building....

Lastly some night shots of the Twin Topwers..... I didn't have a tripod so I was lying flat on my back trying keep the camera steady. The fact that I had been drinking through the S15 Semi Finals and beyond, meant that I was quite drunk..... I actually fell asleep at one point....behaviour not becoming of a gentleman.....

I was amazed when i saw how good some of the shots were....but not all.....

There's always one taking this picture, when the Thai House and the Beach Club open arms waiting for them.
