Its their new airport mate " KLIA2 " so I imagine they for sure would have a hotel within the airport.

I'll be there myself in 2 weeks.

Beware....as airport hotels don't usually have a sterling reputation of decent value for your money.

    Ive just re-read the OP.

The new Air Asia airport is actually KLIA 2.

It opened last month after the old AA airport KLCC closed.

The new " Tune Hotel " is connected to the new Airport but one must clear customs .

    ^ It opened in May.

I went through the old airport on my way to Aust. May 8th and came back through the new airport ten days later.

Unless the OP will need some sleep, jump a taxi to KL (1 hour each way) and have a look around. There's a fair amount to do. You could even get a room in KL itself and have a potter about - still save some cash.

Its still a fair haul into KL though, depends how long one has been flying and what time one gets in.

Tune hotel is a good option for the night, good price if pre booked on the Net.
